Abstract

Fotografi menjadi media representasi yang sangat personal bagi si penciptanya. Sebuah karya fotografi yang dirancang dengan konsep tertentu dengan memilih objek foto yang terpilih dan yang diproses dan dihadirkan bagi kepentingan si pemotretnya sebagai bahan luapan ekspresi artistik dirinya, maka karya tersebut bisa menjadi sebuah karya fotografi ekspresi. Diam perlu dimaknai secara lebih mendalam atau dikembangkan dalam arti kiasan. Sesuai dengan imaji, persepsi, dan pengalaman penulis karya ini dimaknai sebagai bentuk proses tentang memori, gagal, tumbuh, patah, bangun, hilang, menuggu, bertahan , berubah dan sebuah perjalanan kehidupan penulis yang divisualkan secara simbolis dengan subjek manusia. Diam sebagai “subject matter” dalam penciptaan karya ini menunjukan adanya suatu kondisi yang sedang terjadi. Pembuatan karya tugas akhir ini membutuhkan beberapa tahapan dalam proses pembuatannya. Pada proses pertama meliputi persiapan, elaborasi, sintesis, realisasi dengan konsep minimalis dan penyelesaian. Proses pemotretan karya tugas akhir ini dimulai dari ide dan konsep, pemilihan properti pendukung dan penerapan teknik lighting untuk menciptakan karya foto yang menarik. Kata kunci : Fotografi Ekspresi, Diam, Minimalis. Photography becomes a very personal media of representation for the creator. A photographic work that is designed with a particular concept by selecting selected photo objects and those that are processed and presented to the interests of the photographer as an overflow of his artistic expression, then the work can become a work of expression photography. Silence needs to be interpreted in more depth or developed in a figurative sense. In accordance with the images, perceptions, and experiences of the authors of this work is interpreted as a form of the process of memory, failure, growth, broken, wake up, lost, waiting, persisting, changing and a writer's life journey visualized symbolically with human subjects. Silence as a "subject matter" in the creation of this work shows a condition that is happening. Making this final project requires several stages in the manufacturing process. In the first process includes preparation, elaboration, synthesis, realization with a minimalist concept and completion. The process of photographing this final project starts from ideas and concepts, the selection of supporting properties and the application of lighting techniques to create interesting photographs.
