Abstract

Tabuik is a Pariaman city cultural party held to commemorate the death ceremony of the grandson of prophet Muhammad SAW on the 1 to 10 Muharram. Culture that is classified as very attactive to the people of Pariaman and outside the region Pariaman. The concept of the work is tabuik created as a form of interior work in the living room. The creation of this work is realized by using embroidery and embroidery technigues with the creation method used starting from the source of ideas that were applied in making the the work. Then design, that is making alternative design, selected design, and making actual size design and procceed with the process of making the work. As for the material used in the cultivation process, namely primisima cloth, organza fabric, canvas fabric, with remasol staining. The work that is made, namely, a set of chair cushions, a magazine holder, a pair of dinging, corner lights and upright lamps, tissue boxes. 7 work will be created.
